My name is Robert Towell and I created this site to help you navigate the sea of bike products. I have a bachelor’s degree in business and marketing, so I know how bring the results to you in an easy-to-understand format. I’m an experienced cyclist and I have a passion for finding the best bikes and bike parts for your ride. I love to research the latest and greatest new products out there and I also work as a content writer for other cycling sites. In my spare time, I’m also a part-time investor in cycling-related ventures. Over the years I’ve ridden many bikes and tried many of the flashy, hyped-up products that were offered at my local bike shop. Some were good, some were bad, and some were just downright ugly. I wish this site had been around when I was younger, so I didn’t waste so much time and money “spinning my wheels” on mediocre products.

No one likes walking into their local bike shop and seeing 20 saddles to choose from with the only clear difference being the price. Even worse is asking the advice of a sales associate who doesn’t know much more than you do and paying and praying. You could go with what your kids’ karate teacher recommends, or you could let me do the reading and get the best product to fit your needs. You might call me a bike-nerd because I love to read reviews of new products and find out what really works, not just what the guy who made it says. Save your time for the trails or the open road and let me handle the leg work.
